Powrhitch

The
Powrhitch uses two drive wheels and is the most powerful mover. It is quick and easy to connect by simply wheeling the unit (using the smaller dolly wheels) to your trailer and connecting directly to the coupling (or the jockey wheel clamp in the industrial model).

With the click of a rocker switch in the steering handle you can then manoeuvre your trailer either forward or reverse and into position with ease. Push the top portion of the rocker switch and the machine moves away from you pushing the load. Press the switch down and the machine pulls the load toward you. When your thumb is released, the switch goes to the neutral or off position.

The
Powrhitch is powered by a 12 volt DC battery.

It can be connected to the battery in your caravan or boat via the power cable from the quick disconnect plug at the front of the unit or you can have a battery mounted onboard in a battery box. It can move up to 3,000kg on a level, paved surface or up to 2,500kg with a slight grade and has an output power of 185 Nm torque using a 12 volt DC battery.

The Powrhitch has an optional extra of an internal battery charger and comes with a choice of standard onroad tyres or all terrain offroad tyres. (Please note that for heavier caravans you may wish to order foam filled tyres for an additional $100. These are designed to take additional weight without risk of punctures etc). The unit pictured above shows the Powrhitch with optional black mounted battery box, suitable for a 100 AMP battery and offroad tyres).

Prices are as follows:

$2,200 Supply only. Includes white powder coated aluminium battery box suitable for 80AMP battery. (Battery not included)

$2,350 includes mounted 80AMP battery in white powder coated battery box. Pick up only.

$2,750 includes mounted 100AMP battery, black plastic battery box and onboard charger. Pick up only.

Note: The performance of the unit is directly affected by the grade or slope of the surface over which you are travelling due to the effect of gravity. This means a lighter weight trailer will handle a much steeper grade than a heavier trailer. However it must be remembered that no two surface conditions and grade are identical. Therefore, we can only give you a general idea or estimate as to expected performance under your unique circumstances. When moving over grass, gravel or other non-paved type surfaces, your particular soil conditions will affect the performance of your Powrproduct under those conditions.
